Detailed Itinerary:  

DAY 1: ENTEBBE /KAMPALA
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, Tripwide Tours & Travel guide, will meet you and transfer you, to your hotel in Kampala. Check-in at your hotel. Spend your evening at leisure.

DAY 2: KIBALE NATIONAL PARK
This morning after your breakfast, check out from the lodge and transfer to Kibale National Park which is located in the Western Uganda. Have stunning views of the traditional homesteads, local people beautiful scenery views of the Ruwenzori Mountains among other views as you en-route for your lunch. Another stop over at Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary, a well-constructed boardwalks lead you through towering papyrus and make it easy to explore the wetlands. With over 130 bird species, multicolored butterflies, 8 different types of primates, and the rare, semi-aquatic sitatunga (swamp-dwelling antelope). Check in at the lodge on arrival for dinner and overnight

DAY 3: KIBALE NATIONAL PARK
After your breakfast, meet up with your driver guide and drive at the park headquarters for a chimpanzee tracking briefing. You will be grouped into a group of 06 Pax and allocated a chimpanzee family to trek with a guide to lead you in the park. It may take you between 01 Hour to 05 Hours to locate the chimps. Once you locate them, spend time with them and get the opportunity to learn about their behaviors, feed them as you take photos of this stunning experience. Afterwards, stop off for lunch (packed lunch in your picnic lunch boxes) before heading to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. This is a stunning area of the rainforest that’s home to an abundance of animals: monkeys, birds, among others. Drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Spend your evening at leisure.

DAY 4: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Spend your morning at leisure and after breakfast, check out from your camp as we embark on the 3- 4 Hours drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Set on the floor of the Rift Valley, the landscape of northern Queen Elizabeth comprises dozens of ancient craters carved into gentle rolling hills. The park boasts over 600 species of birds—more than any other national park in Uganda. Have en-route lunch in Fort Portal as you explore the area around the base of the Rwenzori Mountains. Proceed to your lodge for check in as you have a game drive en-route. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 5: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
After your breakfast, proceed for your lion tracking experience at Kasenyi Plains. During the game drive have a view of Uganda kobs, Waterbucks, Giant Forest hogs, different bird species amongst others. After the game drive proceed to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon after your lunch proceed for a boat cruise carried out along Kazinga Channel which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Its banks attract large mammals such as hippos, elephants, and buffaloes, crocodiles, Waterbirds- such as kingfishers, hornbills,comorants, be-eates among others. Afterwards proceed to your lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: BWINDI IMPENETRATABLE NATIONAL PARK
After your breakfast, check out from your lodge with your packed lunch boxes. Embark on a 3 to 4 Hours drive to Bwindi National Park, located in the South western Uganda. The Park harbors half of the world’s mountain gorilla population. On your way have a stopover at Ishasha sectors for a game drive . The famous tree climbing lions are harbored here and can be seen lying up in fig tree branches. Have your en-route lunch and proceed with your journey. On arrival, check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight. Prepare for Gorilla tracking the next day. Spend your evening at leisure.

DAY 7: BWINDI IMPENETRATABLE NATIONAL PARK
After your breakfast, have your packed lunch. Meet up with your driver guide and drive at the park headquarters for a Gorilla tracking briefing. You will be grouped into a group of 08 Pax and allocated a gorilla family to trek with a guide to lead you in the park. It may take you between 01 Hour to 09 Hours to locate the gorillas. Once you locate them, spend time with them and get the opportunity to learn about their behaviors, feed them as you take photos and record the breathtaking moments. Then you trek back to your starting point and get yourself a Certificate for participating in gorilla tracking. Meet up with your driver guide and return to the lodge. Spend your evening at leisure.

DAY 8: BWINDI IMPENETRATABLE NATIONAL PARK
This day spend at leisure. You may opt to go for an optional cultural tour whereby you will visit the Bakiga and Batwa communities. The Batwa / pygmies are the old people who used to live in the forest before it was gazetted a national park. Get to understand their cultures from the way they live and participate in preparing their traditional dishes. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 9: ENTEBBE
After your breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Entebbe. As you drive have views of terraced farmlands, traditional homesteads, Kigezi hills among others. Have a stop over for your lunch in Mabara town. Proceed to Kayabwe town where the Equator line crossed and have memorable photos as well as grab yourself souvenirs. On arrival at Entebbe, your driver will drop you off at the hotel for check in and dinner.

DAY 10: DEPARTURE
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and get transferred to the Airport for your outbound flight back home.
